In short, Gang Wars Season 1 is all out warfare between rivaling gangs each fielding 50 battle-ready apes and led by intrepid Gang Leaders. Season 1 will be a text-based game playing out in Ape Gang’s discord over a period of 10–15 days until one gang is crowned the ultimate winner.

The entire Ape Gang Universe is centered around Gang Wars so it should come as no surprise that $GANG will be linked to Gang Wars in a MAJOR way. We will explain everything in details in the near future but it goes without saying that you will want to participate in Gang Wars…..and win!
I need help picking apes for Gang War. How do I get started?
It is common knowledge that 6 Trait apes hold a major advantage in Gang Wars. But you shouldn’t rule out apes with lower trait numbers. It’s all about finding the right trait combinations. You can check individual ape stats in Ape Gang’s discord (the “flex-your-ape” channel) as well as pitch apes against each other in our Gang Wars battle simulator (the “duels” channel). This is the time to build your database.

OK OK…don’t get your knickers in a twist. Our dear founders are hard at work finalizing the Gang Wars Manager inter-phase, which will go live during November 2021.
Gang Wars Manager will enable Gang Leaders to lock-in their gangs and allow ape owners to see existing gangs and apply for memberships. Remember. As long as you are not accepted in a gang you can apply in other ones. However, as soon as you join a gang, it is permanent (BUT ONLY for Season 1) even if you sell your ape(s), the next owner(s) will not be able to change. After Season 1, gangs will be reset in preparation for Season 2.
