As a young ape, #3949, he dealt with a lot of abuse from his family. Living with one parent was rough enough, but having that parent be abusive hurt that little ape. He spent many of his years while growing up trying to be something he was not. It can be easy to see something in the distance that gains popularity, attention, and admiration, and think that the grass is greener.
However, as he grew, he understood just how flawed that sentiment truly is. When he got to the HighSchool Jungle he was hanging around the wrong apes, smoking fat bananas daily. Even drinking fermented banana mead at lunch, he was going down the wrong path. Getting into fights with other apes, purely because he didn’t like how they looked. He was out for blood during this time, as he needed a way to express himself and get the attention he so much yearned for. He barely made it through the Jungle with bad grades and set himself up for a life that seemed doomed and futile.
Then tragedy struck, one of his closest ape brethren had passed away. It was late at night, fat bananas had been smoked, banana powder had been used, and the mead was drunk like water. This concoction combined with high speed vine-swinging turned into a deadly affair. Standing there, in front of a jungle wood casket, beautiful vibrant flowers strewn about the ape that lie there motionless, lifeless. This experience made him look inside his ape self and re-evaluate. Why the death? Why me? Then it hit him, complexity.
There were a lot of extenuating circumstances coming all down at once on top of this young ape. He realized he needed a sanctuary, a sanctum of peace that cannot be breached by even the darkest of events. Simplicity, What does simplicity truly mean? It means that when you are focusing on too many things that you can’t control, you will never be able to move forward. It is essential for this ape to be able to ignore the outside voices that are coming in and keep his life simple.
He sold most of his belongings and caught the first flight to ape paradise. Hawaii. From there on he began to work odd jobs until he was able to open up his first flagship restaurant, “Apeish” a seafood restaurant with an unlimited banana smoothie bar.
