This week’s edition of The Peel is dedicated to Ape Gang’s custom 3D metaverse.
Roadmap 3.0 is our most ambitious roadmap to date. Once we’re finished executing on it, Ape Gang will belong to the absolute Super League of NFT projects
December 10th release!
As you can probably tell from the videos and pictures we’ve been leaking from our metaverse build, we’re going all-in to make this the best possible experience for Ape Gang’s community.
Ape Gang’s Management Team has already successfully completed stage 1 alpha-testing and on Tuesday November 30th Bulkz will be streaming live from the metaverse at 3pm EST in Ape Gang’s discord.
Behind the scenes, the team from LeapNverse is working around the clock to optimize and stress-test the multiplayer release. To be on the safe side, we will release the first multiplayer version of Ape Gang’s metaverse to the public on December 10th with the key features outlined below.
Key features in the December 10th version
You will be able explore the world as a naked fur ape and interact with other apes via text chat. There will be a parkour course to practice your skills as well as Easter eggs scattered around the world for you to discover. The server capacity is still being optimized and will be announced closer to the release date.
Voice chat released on December 17th
On December 17th you will be able to interact with other apes via voice chat.
Additional features in stage 2 (ETA end December)
In the stage 2 release, you will be able to play as your own ape(s) in Ape Gang’s metaverse. We can’t wait to experience a sea of traits roaming our world.
And the weekly 1 vs 1 tournament winner is……BGB
After many tough battles, the Dark Lord aka BGB SWEEPS the floor in the final with a 4–0 victory against Honger. Congrats BGB!
Outlook for next week
The big meetings we eluded to last week went well and we are targeting a big announcement in mid-December. Besides the metaverse, we are keeping busy with the imminent release of Gang Wars Manager, working on some cool descriptions for the first fully confirmed use cases of $GANG, launching an online store for Ape Gang merchandise as well as planning a huge giveaway to celebrate our contract migration on December 15th. On a final note, don’t forget to dial in when Omar represents Ape Gang at the Discord NFT summit hosted by BSC News on November 29th, 4PM UTC.
