Here’s a recap of what we achieved the last week in terms of roadmap progress and notable new projects being embarked on.
Metaverse, Gang Wars, Voxel for Ape Gang holders, Merchandise
We’re in build-build-build mode and everything is on track. It wouldn’t be a normal week at the office without a few leaks from founder Jokong.
$GANG token release
It’s official! December 15th marks the launch of Ape Gang’s official utility token, $GANG. Yes, you will have to pay gas in order to migrate your apes to our new contract. But with all the cool things we have planned for $GANG, we think it will definitely be worth it.
Social media
YouTube
We have huge plans to leverage on YouTube as a platform for exponential growth of our brand & community. You’ve watched us grow on Twitter & Instagram and now we’re entering the super league of social media channels
Within the very near future, our YouTube activities will add an additional stream of income to our community wallet and strengthen our position when it comes to securing high-value partnerships/sponsorships.
Our new content creator Omar (follow him on Twitter) did a great job with our first video “WHAT IS AN NFT? (101 Beginner Guide)”.
A few days after we celebrated 4000 followers on Ape Gang’s Instagram, we rounded 5000 followers and now we have 6000 followers in sight. The growth is without a doubt a direct result of the great content we are consistently posting. Gotta love those Tinder profiles!
Sherlock Holmes give-away — congratulations Imatt
We teamed up with Gangs of Ape City and Sherlock2050nft who designed an amazing 1/1 zombie ape to celebrate their new NFT comic.

Wealth is a 4 million follower strong Instagram page. Can’t complain about free publicity. Our Time Square billboard splash will be paying dividends for a long time to come.
Notable sales
This week the rares were back in action. The 20 ETH sale — of one of the most iconic pieces in Ape Gang’s collection — represents the second highest sales price on record.
Outlook for next week
We have some really big meetings lined up for next week and possibly a surprise podcast as well. Oh! And the Management Team will be beta-testing the metaverse in preparation for launch. Other than that, the grind continues.
