In our last interview, Don V (Cenzo) from APE MAFIA calmly dismantled his fellow Gang Leaders. This time around, Captain Blackfur from PIRATES walks the plank. We’ll know soon enough how he fares.
Why did you apply to be a Gang Leader?
Aye, I’ve heard that the first gang war is about to take place. This conflict raging across Ape City opens a chaotic path to wealth and glory for any pirate crew bold enough to claim it. I realized that Ape City needs a captain… A captain who’s able to lead a notorious crew of pirates… and who could be better qualified for this than CAPTAIN BLACKFUR HIMSELF?! Now, finally, we have a place under a black flag, a place among freed people, a place where you could be feared and respected once again.
The Ape’s Revenge is not just a ship, you know. It’s not just a keel and a deck… What the Ape’s Revenge really is… is freedom.
Why will your Gang dominate Gang Wars Season 1?
Because we pirates are dangerous and do not fear death. A harmless ape is not a good ape. A good ape is a very dangerous ape who has that under voluntary control. We came into this world screaming and covered in someone else’s blood, and let me tell you, we’re not afraid to leave it the same way.
Having said that, who do you see as your main competitor?
There will be heavy battles between the Mafia and the Cult and we don’t know yet what BGB will came up with. But if you’re a true warrior, competition doesn’t scare you. It makes you better.
Gang Wars Season 2 will include Toucans and Jaguars but not much else has been revealed. How do you see Season 2 playing out?
First, let’s fight the battles we have in front of us.

We care about each other. We help each other. We love each other.
