This is the first installment of a series of blog posts where we interview notable Gang Leaders for Ape Gang’s upcoming Gang Wars Season 1.
First up is LEGION OF THE CONCRETE JUNGLE led by Corey “we are the competition!” WolfHart.
Why did you apply to be a Gang Leader?
It all started with those beautiful pixels. Then I got in the discord and saw how active it was and it went from there. I learned more about the road map and figured it would be a fun part of the project to get into. I’m glad I did!
Why will your Gang dominate Gang Wars Season 1?
Because LEGION OF THE CONCRETE JUNGLE is filled with diamond handers! We are all dedicated to Ape Gang and active in all parts of the project. We’ve been training hard and we’re coming for the Jaguars!
Having said that, who do you see as your main competitor?
Probably the gang with the most whales hahahaha. But no seriously, we are the competition! Next question.
Gang Wars Season 2 will include Toucans and Jaguars but not much else has been revealed. How do you see Season 2 playing out?
It would be cool to have utility with the Toucans and Jaguars. Maybe holding those could increase stats or give the gang a perk? I’m sure whatever Jokong & Rikong have planned for Season 2 is going to blow our minds so I’m not worried.
What’s your favorite thing about Ape Gang’s community?
The creativity of the community is my favorite part. We have great memes, but we also have people working on comic books, physical collectibles, merchandise, and things we haven’t seen yet. All built from the ground up. The chats are always going with ape talk, too. It’s really a sight to behold. Shout out to the mods!
Where do you see Ape Gang EOY (talking about floors is forbidden)?
I see it even bigger than it is now. The game will be out, Gang Wars will probably be in full force, more updates and milestones will be hit. Floor be damned, we’re just getting started
