Ape Gang’s Fight Club is going live!

“Fight Club” is Ape Gang’s latest play-and-earn game. It takes our discord training matches to the next level and allows holders to battle each other in a browser-based game for $GANG prizes.

Rule number one: You don’t speak about Ape Gang’s Fight Club (tweeting is OK though)

We have built on the foundation of Gang Wars Season 1, which involved:

• A play-and-earn turn based simulation engine
• Allowed Ape Gang NFTs to fight each other in a knockout format
• Battle stats were determined by characteristics derived from the traits of individual Ape

Wen game?

Fight Club will launch on July 4th and will be playable via Ape Gang’s website (www.apegang.art).

Key features of Fight Club

• 2-week long leagues with an inbuilt leader board
• Pick up a league pass for 100 $GANG to compete. This buy-in will last for each 2-week league and grants you 12 fights per day.
• When an ape loses a battle, its health points take 6 hours to regenerate. When an ape wins a battle, its health points are restored. This means that holders with 1 or 2 apes still have a chance to take full advantage of their 12 fights per day.
• The 100 $GANG buy-in automatically gets put in the prize pool. So if 50 people enter, that’s 5000 $GANG!
• In addition, Ape Gang will top up the prize pool with a further 2000 $GANG each 2-week league.
• We have developed a brand new ELO rating system which calculates the relative strength of your apes vs other apes.
• You will be automatically matched against apes with a similar ELO rating. This avoids mismatching of strong apes with weaker apes.
• And plenty more for you to explore once the game launches.

Besides fusing & breeding Jaguars, registering ENS subdomains, Fight Club winners will also be able to spend $GANG to buy exclusive NFT artwork made by Ape Gang’s co-founder, Jokong. Warning! This artwork is expensive. But not to worry, other masterpieces will be available through competitions and giveaways.
