In this series of blog posts we interview notable Ape Gang community members. In our last interview with “Bulkz” he suggested we interview “Golden-Ape.eth”. Besides owning the one and only Golden Ape, “Golden Boy” is also known for being a die-hard Ape Gang (Come on! He even wrapped his cars in Ape Gang stickers).

It has to be GOLDEN APE! ApeGang #9817.
What’s the ape of your dreams?
The Ape of my dream has been realized when I won the Golden Ape giveaway!
What’s your favorite ape trait?
Gold Fur for sure! I mean, 1/10000 and I am Asian so gold anytime, every-time!
How did you find Ape Gang and why did you ape in?
Interesting. I remember buying my first NFT back in August 2021 and it was not Ape Gang. So….. Apes were the in thing so I decided to search for the word “Ape” in OpenSea and chanced upon Ape Gang and the rest was history. Why did I join Ape Gang? One word: welcoming. I never had to use discord and the only reason why I had one was because of Ape Gang. I remember everyone being helpful and always wanting to answer any queries that I have.
What are your interests outside of Ape Gang?
I love bringing my wife and dog out in our Jeep and Big G. Other than that, I spend most of my time working or degen’ing on Discord.
What do you think you’re known for in the community?
Known for sweeping at random timings. Then for winning Golden Ape which is why I have the nickname Golden Boy.
What’s your favorite thing about the community?
GANG GANG. We got each other back. Always.
What’s a must know for someone wanting to join the community?
Be prepared to be deprived of sleep because time do not exist in Ape gang.
